Getting started

Get your school on Reading Riot

Three steps to enroll your school and have students competing within the week.

Email us to get started

Send a request to join to readingriot@eyebraingym.com. The team will respond with a school-specific signup URL and QR code.

Register your school

Download the Reading Riot app (iOS or Android) or open app.reading-riot.com in your browser. Then use your QR code or signup link to complete registration.

Option A — Using the QR code

  1. Open the app or web app and tap Register.
  2. Scan the QR code sent by the team.
  3. Complete and submit the registration form.

Option B — Using the URL link

  1. Tap your signup link — it opens the registration form directly.
  2. Complete and submit.
School already exists on the system? Reach out to the team at readingriot@eyebraingym.com. They'll verify your credentials and can either add you as an admin to the existing school or transfer it to you.

Bring your students in

From your dashboard, tap the student joining card to access a student-specific QR code and link. Share it with your class to get everyone signed up.

How to share

  1. Open the app and go to your dashboard. Tap the student joining card.
  2. Choose how to share:
    • QR code (PNG) — download and print for your classroom, or send via WhatsApp or email.
    • URL link — students tap it to open the registration form directly.

Email verification

Email verification is required before students can compete. Students can verify themselves by tapping the link in their welcome email. Alternatively, go to Participants in the app and tap Verify next to each student's name to do it manually.

On email addresses: Each student needs a unique email address. Students can use a parent's email — but siblings cannot share one address. Each address must belong to exactly one student account.
